Murray is sad. He has to leave his family. He is heading to field command to join the platoon and became one of millions of identical soldiers. It was his own decision.
His wife consider divorce and his son hates him, but deeply in his heart he admires his father.

Murray doesn’t have easy life in navy. He is too heavy, slow and really crappy with weapons. No mail from family for four months doesn’t help at all. Other soldiers in his age have been promoted long time ago and they enjoy life on upper levels. And he is still here, with those stupid, loud, annoying youngsters.
Although there is one thing murray knows the best. And he is going to use this knowledge soon.

Visiting Emscher Park in Germany two years ago I met a group of StarWars hardcore fans with complete outfits – troopers, pilots, soldiers, mercenaries or god only knows what outfits. I’m not a big fan of SW, but those people with their stuff in rough, post-industrial environment were looking absolutely fantastic. Of course quite large group of photographers was orbiting around them all the time. It was hard sometimes to find clear spot without other cameras in view.
Last week I found a dvd with set of over 2000 photographs from Emsher. Most of them is really bad, but there are also few worth publishing. I’m going to prepare set of ‘Star Wars Troopers’ and another for industrial buildings, structures and landscapes.
Hope you’ll enjoy it.
